All Leeped Up

How many things have snuck up on you lately?

It's the second month and the weather is going all April on us....

It's 2012 and we're still here, aren't we?....

February has an 'r' near the end and another one that gets pronounced 'yoo'....

Also has an extra day we have to leap over....

Anything more, and we'd be sneaky ourselves, wouldn't we?

Hmmmmmmm?

sal dal

Big heat and big rainstorms go 2gether but when the dark skies are clear at night you can see shooting stars. Oh well, that's life in the 2nd season. First comes cold then comes hot. Added to the milkshake are some irish roses that bloomed out. Too bad we can't bring you smell-o-vision but it hasn't been invented yet. Someone get busy!

Get Yer Summer On!

It's summer tonight, technically and astronomically speaking.
Go light off an m-80 or a bottle rocket.
I'll go outside and listen and fire one back at ya.

Here are three things you pencil in for summer:

The start of Futurama June 23 (check gotfuturama.com).

The Fourth of July weekend (rock those fireworks, baby!)

Whatever weekend of your town's carnival (rock those rides and cotton candy, baby!!)

Listen to some Stan Getz and get totally cooled off from the inside out.

Yeah, it's summer, baby!!!

Oh yeah, and rock out with the Ramones all summer long. (Let yer yay-yas out!!!!)

See ya....baby!!!!!

my, my I'm saying baby alot these days, aren't I..........baby?

Go down with all your guns blazing!

Stardust ended its mission life a couple nights ago by firing all its engines full throttle out in the black darkness of deep space. Didn't know about it? Well! It was the most ambitious mission in our earth's entire history of exploration. Twelve years. Visiting three comets, sending back samples of a comet (first time in history) to study (which is still ongoing six years later--I am proud to say I am an amateur part of the scientific community involved in the study).

Here is an artist's rendition of the last awesome roar of noble Stardust!

Love how it ended its mission. Not with a whimper or a crash into a hard body. Instead the mission directors decided to put the pedal to the metal and empty the tanks in one glorious 15 minutes full ride to hell. They estimate it might have taken the ship up to 75,000 miles per hour. Maaaaaan! I'd like that kinda ride when I reach my exit point someday!

Hah! Suck on that, all you gravity-bound drivers; who go way too slow in the left lane, right turn singal perpetually blinking, oblivious to everyone else.

I say: get the fuck outta my way! I'm comin thru like Stardust on burnout muthafucka!!!

Anyone still alive out there?....If so, then 'go mental' with me

Mebee you're still there and mebee you're not. (I could just be whistling in the dark, (we've all done THAT before.)

However, if you are still a lookey-loo after all these years, give out with a whoop n a holler. I realize blogs are so passe now. I soooo understand.

I'm thinking of shutting this baby down pretty soon.

So add your names to posterity aka forever and so forth and respond with a closing comment to seal the deal. Do it for me, do it for you, do it for someone you love. But for gosh sakes just make yourself heard one last time!

Hello?

Anyone....?

Where else will you hear random rib-jarring rock like this?

Oh well...time to go mental wit ma boyz da ramones (then get the heck outta here....)

Let's go

swimming taco cousins

if
the
Youngbloods
and Strangeloves

held
a
world tour

it would probably be called the

strange
blood-love
tour '10

but that might attract the vampire movie crowd accidentally

and wouldn't that be a clash of cultures. (or a crash of vultures?!)

Everybody's got one so let's opine

There are two great rock n roll questions that have never been fully explained. You know that's what we're here for. To give you an opportunity to vent and tell us their meanings.

Now is the time for you to take a shot at them:

1. We know he jumped off the Tallahachee Bridge, but what exactly did Billy Jo McAllister do up on Chocktaw Ridge to cause all this commotion?

2. What did Mary Hill do after dark in Cherry Hill Park to cause such a thrill?
