AT LAST! Right between spring and autumn is that little old season we embrace.......and here we are again......and where have you been hiding so many months? Welcome back summertime and thanks for pausing right here at your lil ol corner of the blogisphere (where more than 800 of you showed up at the last posting two nights ago). All we can say here in the control room is my oh my and dunka and also time to spin that mega-hit from 1959 that nobody remembers until they hear it again, American pop hipster Jerry Keller's Here Comes Summer. Spin it, dig it, grin it and find your suntan lotion because it's time to summer-up! Stop by lots and lots, over and over, all this long-weekend long to check out the summer vibe on the Milkshake. Going There

walk with me while I tell you how it got cancelled again but not until september. maybe it will return from the dead once more. despite the odds it does seem to have staying power. it starts wednesday night at 9 cst. the 'it' is futurama. in unrelatedness, tales of brave ulysses is just a live rock performance by cream and you can dial it up loud to suit yourself. or not. or mebee si. or no. the point is i dont care.

how many ulysses can you think of (without running to google)? which one comes to mind first? think children think? if you look everything up all the time and dont deduce you will become fodder for the machine. ulysses. book....war hero....motorcycle....son of neptune....all....none....neither....either....nyther....eyther....

The ands have it

We're coming at you with a rare back-to-back post today and it's the ides of June. It's Saturday and it's the 15th and it's summer (or nearly) and we're here in the control room at your favorite blog and were preparing for a special blog-a-day summer-music-celebration starting this coming Thursday.
