July, July, longtime between posts i know.
This year we lost Dick Dale in March. That hurts.
But summer is rolling, and The Who are coming soon.
So that’s awe-to-the-some! Have a great sol!
And go Catch A Wave, cause you’ll be sitting ontop o the world!

and kickin'
We're alive! (and Not dead) and kickin'. Yes we've been visiting the world for the past 14 months or so (and still are). BTW, the world says "hiya". But we never forsake the milkshake. That rhymes! We will dust off the control room up in the tower, pay up our rent, and get behind the knobs again soon with music and smart-ass-ery. Hang in!

I'm Gonna Strut Like A Cock Til I'm 99
In the 70s we jammed to a shitload of Seger, Joe Walsh, Humble Pie, Dr. Hook and these badass muthafuckas.
Dig this as you go about your business this July.
Hey does anyone still punch-start their motorcycle like me? (Like the punk in Bad News Bears?) Fun, ain't it?!

What's So 'Great' ???
Maybe you heard? On July 10, NASA's JUNO spacecraft will fly closely above the great red spot on Jupiter and take close-ups for the first time. The GRS is a storm 350-years in the brewing. This will be interesting. Our newly rebooted robotic staff are excitedly preparing to monitor the event from the Milkshake tower control room.

I Love You, America.... From Sea To Shining Sea
What Craig Breedlove did on that warm August morn in the 60s can't be underestimated.
Five-hundred-and-thirty miles per hour on land is faster than a jet airliner in the sky. Say in with me 5-3-9 mph.
Daring and bold! He 'did' play a dangerous game. Let's celebrate the awe-inspiring, with Brian Wilson's song.
Happy Fourth of July, America! Let that independent spirit always fly high! God shed his grace on thee!
In order: The song; his run; and of course, maybe the prettiest song ever created.... America The Beautiful!

It's Right!
Float back to the 70s, our natural habitat so to speak, and delight in this baby at all hours, and Happy Fourth!

That's why, my love, it never stops
A beautiful, haunting melody from Brian Wilson, early 60s. Lonely Sea. Enjoy on a quiet summer night.
