Getting 200 visitors yesterday is making the Milkshake take notice. Some of you are certainly from the science community. So here's a little sci and sci-fi. Because we need sc-fi mainly to try out our dreams and fantasies before we hold them up to reality. The sci is the Mars Opportunity Rover cruising past it's ninth year and driving the farthest of any NASA vehicle. The talking rings are from George Pal's 1960 movie of HG Wells' Time Machine. So there you go scientists, and science lovers, and sci-fi-Big-Bang-loving types, and, oh yeah, all the rest of yooz.

Squeeze Me All Thru The Night

Warm weather is flying in. Clothes are flying off. And there's a whole heap of things we could be discussing right now........the rovers on mars.....various pop music references......the coming attractions here at your favorite bubbly frothy blog......but none of that is what you really want right now. The only thing the Milkshake is asking this entire weekend and beyond, right out into the setting sun, the thing they've been asking for centuries, and the very thing we'll let Bobby Freeman and the Ramones both ask is.......... baby.... DO YOU WANNA DANCE?

Massivity

This rubine colored hurricane (photo courtesy of nasa's jpl) is swirling at the top of Saturn right now. Right freakin now! It's eye is 1,000 miles wide. It wiggles about inside an area scientists call "the hexagon" which is a stormy area up top on Saturn. It might also be the portal to hades. Whatever the case may be, I think this photo is sweet; in other words it's tits, man, tits! Okay I said it. But it had to be said. Moving from science to music seamlessly as only the Milkshake can....let 1910 fruitgum company tell you...that...."baby you ain't right". Oh yeah. Not right. Not in the least bit are you "right".
