Go down with all your guns blazing!

Stardust ended its mission life a couple nights ago by firing all its engines full throttle out in the black darkness of deep space. Didn't know about it? Well! It was the most ambitious mission in our earth's entire history of exploration. Twelve years. Visiting three comets, sending back samples of a comet (first time in history) to study (which is still ongoing six years later--I am proud to say I am an amateur part of the scientific community involved in the study).

Here is an artist's rendition of the last awesome roar of noble Stardust!

Love how it ended its mission. Not with a whimper or a crash into a hard body. Instead the mission directors decided to put the pedal to the metal and empty the tanks in one glorious 15 minutes full ride to hell. They estimate it might have taken the ship up to 75,000 miles per hour. Maaaaaan! I'd like that kinda ride when I reach my exit point someday!

Hah! Suck on that, all you gravity-bound drivers; who go way too slow in the left lane, right turn singal perpetually blinking, oblivious to everyone else.

I say: get the fuck outta my way! I'm comin thru like Stardust on burnout muthafucka!!!

Anyone still alive out there?....If so, then 'go mental' with me

Mebee you're still there and mebee you're not. (I could just be whistling in the dark, (we've all done THAT before.)

However, if you are still a lookey-loo after all these years, give out with a whoop n a holler. I realize blogs are so passe now. I soooo understand.

I'm thinking of shutting this baby down pretty soon.

So add your names to posterity aka forever and so forth and respond with a closing comment to seal the deal. Do it for me, do it for you, do it for someone you love. But for gosh sakes just make yourself heard one last time!

Hello?

Anyone....?

Where else will you hear random rib-jarring rock like this?

Oh well...time to go mental wit ma boyz da ramones (then get the heck outta here....)

Let's go
